Lila is an alumnus of UBC with a Bachelor of Arts – Education and a post grad certificate in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She worked in the field of Special Education for many years. More recently Lila completed a 2 year Painting Certificate at Emily Carr University and held her first solo show.
Her passion for art is explored through her acrylic painting and contemporary textile art. Having travelled extensively throughout the world, Lila draws inspiration from the people and places she has visited and often documents these travels through photography. Living in Squamish BC provides endless natural beauty, recreational adventures and family, friends and home that continue to gift her with daily inspiration and gratitude.
